Mark Ryden

I've always been a huge fan of Mark since I saw one of his pieces at my friend Tom Thewes' CPOP gallery many years ago! He's still making beautiful works that have such a soft touch and great undertone!

"Blending themes of pop culture with techniques reminiscent of the old masters, Mark Ryden has created a singular style that blurs the traditional boundaries. Known for the Pop Surrealist movement."

My wife and I had the pleasure to meet Olivia De Berardinis in person several years ago at Comic Con. She was wonderful! Her advice has stuck with us from then and we always have appreciated her kindness.

The work of Olivia is a delicate mix of old master rendering and modern pinup art. She continues to create new pieces that are more successful than her previous works, sign of a great artist (she's much too modest to admit).

Her new book is available for $39.95, a 160 pages of yummy!

Hajime Sorayama

While studying transportation design at CCS I discovered a book from Hajime Sorayama and was just blown away by the technical detail and the juxtaposition of mechanical and human form. This was in the early nineties.

His work has been a source of inspiration for so many of us for so many years!

"In retrospect, Sorayama's work has been remarkably prescient. Beginning in the 1970's and evolving into the 21st century, the futuristic aura of the robotic, mythic and fantastical figures in his art have always been ahead of their time."

Guy Harvey

Dr. Harvey is for sure one of the best supporters of fishing, conservation and ethical living. He's also one great painter that I hope to meet someday.

"Growing up in Jamaica, Guy spent many hours fishing and diving with his father along the Island's south coast. He was obsessed with marine life and began drawing pictures of the many different fish he observed".

Really like these pieces, something so captivating about the heroic subject and the reality of aging archetypes. And they are pretty funny!

Always loved a good figure in watercolor and this girl has talent.

"Artist Silvia Pelissero creates amazing watercolor illustrations, a genre which is somewhere between figurative and abstract painting. An Italian painter also known as agnes-cecile."
